Portrait Photography

My portrait photography sessions are designed to create natural, relaxed images in locations that suit you.
Based in Bromyard, I typically photograph portrait sessions within a 20-mile radius, working outdoors where possible, but I’m happy to consider indoor locations or travel further by arrangement. Whether you’re planning family portraits, children’s photography, couple portraits, or an engagement shoot, we’ll choose a setting that fits the look and feel you’re after.
Portraiture sessions are unforced and easy going, allowing you to feel comfortable in front of the camera while I focus on genuine expressions and natural interaction.
Micro weddings, marriage proposals and Christenings
Micro weddings, marriage proposals and Christenings are also covered within my portrait photography pricing. These smaller, more personal occasions are photographed in the same relaxed, natural way, with any key moments approached thoughtfully and without making things feel overly staged. Coverage is charged at the same rates as portrait sessions, with the same options for prints and digital images, and can take place locally or further afield by arrangement.

Pet Portraits

I create simple studio pet portraits.
They’re clean, straightforward photographs on a bold background, using studio lighting and no props. The focus is on your pet’s face and expression, without anything else getting in the way.
By keeping the setup consistent and uncluttered, small details start to stand out – the way they look at the camera, a slight head tilt, the texture of their fur. That’s where their character shows through.
The sessions are calm and unpressured and there’s no expectation for your pet to sit still or behave in a certain way. I keep things relaxed, take a few photographs, and stop when we’ve got something that feels right.
Images are edited cleanly and carefully, without heavy processing, and delivered in both colour and black & white through a private online gallery.
This style works particularly well as a printed piece – simple, graphic, and easy to live with on the wall.
If you like this approach and think it would suit your pet, feel free to get in touch.
