After Your Wedding
Your wedding day is over, but the journey with your photographs isn’t finished. What happens next is an important part of bringing your memories to life in a way you can revisit again and again.
This page explains what you can expect after your wedding, how your images are delivered, and how you can use them once they’re ready.
Editing and Delivery
Once your wedding has finished, I begin the process of reviewing and editing the images. This involves selecting the best photographs from throughout your day, refining colour and tone and ensuring the final set reflects the way the day felt rather than trying to artificially enhance it.
Final edited images are usually delivered within approximately 1 to 2 weeks of the wedding date. Timing can vary slightly due to workload or unforeseen circumstances, but I’ll always keep you updated if there’s any delay.
Once ready you'll receive a direct link to your gallery, a password (usually maiden name followed by married name unless requested otherwise) and pin code for downloading. You can then view, download and share your images in high resolution, or order prints and products if you’d like.
How You Can Use Your Images
Once your images are delivered, they’re yours to enjoy.
Under the terms of the contract, you are granted domestic usage rights once your images are delivered. That means you can view, print and display the photographs privately, share them with friends and family or use them for personal purposes such as invitations or thank-you cards without restriction.
If you plan to publish your images publicly – for example in magazines or on wedding blogs – a credit is appreciated where reasonably practical.
Copyright in all images remains with me, and that means I am also able to show your photographs on my website, social media and other portfolios unless you ask otherwise in writing.
If there are specific images you would prefer not to be used for promotional purposes, you can let me know and I’ll respect that.
Thank You Cards
A printed thank you card gives you a chance to follow up properly after the wedding. Choosing a photo from the day makes it feel more personal, and it’s something guests can put on the fridge or tuck into a drawer rather than forgetting about in an inbox.

Downloading and Printing
Your online gallery makes it easy to:

share favourites with friends and family
If you’d like additional print products, albums, framed prints or other keepsakes, you can order these directly through the gallery or get in touch to discuss your preferences.
Your gallery typically remains available for 12 months, giving you plenty of time to download and save your favourites locally.
Keeping in Touch
After your images are delivered, I’m always happy to help with any questions you have, whether it’s choosing prints, understanding usage, or planning albums and products.
Your wedding photographs are a record of a unique day, and my aim is to make the period after your wedding feel as straightforward and enjoyable as the day itself.
Long Term
I never delete a finished set of wedding images. While your online gallery remains available for 12 months, your photographs are safely archived beyond that. If you ever need access again, whether that’s months or years later, you can always get in touch. I’ve had couples come back to design albums five years after their wedding.
There’s no rush at all. You can take your time and come back to things whenever it feels right for you.
